That’s the thing Darren; all the resources are out there to dive into from day 1. You list gems.

Few start out as influencers in their niche because we are all new to our niches LOL. Or most are. Meaning we start from scratch most of the time. Meaning we are mostly nobodies, unknown, and need to learn from pros like yourself how to become experts in our niches of choice. Dive in. Learn. Practice. Study. Pay for courses. Hire coaches. They will teach you how to become influential and over time, with practice, creating and connecting, you gain influence too.

Wonderful podcast with just so many great ideas… I’m so glad I could read the transcript because that way I could distill it into an actionable cheat sheet… and, of course, share it with my students :) I think most of the people I’ve worked with just gave up at one time because they weren’t getting traffic or earning any money. Your best suggestion, IMHO, is to do more narrowly focused content, and find a new super targeted audience for that. Thanks much. It was super – Donna

Every time I use an image of a photo I took myself, I get it shared all over the place. It may be a simple sunset with some words on it and it receives more recognition than a clip art photo.
Once I started carrying my phone everywhere, especially on walks, there are endless photos to use.

Susan, the personal stuff is hard for me too. It takes some time but reading blogs like Ryan’s (bloggingfromparadise) has helped me.

I now do what I like to call 1-minute blogging. It’s writing my story/thoughts/feelings on whatever topic I just read or wrote.

For instance, for this post I’d share a story about how I feel after reading a post from CoSchedule vs a Post from Ryan’s blog. I learn from both, but the feelings invoked are completely different.

p.s. you’re doing a great job with blogging. 1-year + already.
